Given that selling price of the sari = 2100

given the profit =16×2/3%=50/3%

we know than the cost price = [100/(100+gain%)]*sp

= [100(100+50/3)]*2100

= [100/(350/3)]*2100

=(300/350)*2100

=1800

Therefore , the cost price of the sari is 1800
