The maximum horizontal range,

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {R_{max}=\dfrac {u^2}{g}}

And it is attained at \displaystyle\sf {\theta=45^{\circ}.}

Then, the maximum height,

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {H=\dfrac {u^2\sin^2\theta}{2g}}

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {H=\dfrac {u^2}{g}\cdot\dfrac{\sin^245^{\circ}}{2}}

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {H=R_{max}\cdot\dfrac{\left (\dfrac {1}{2}\right)}{2}}

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {H=\dfrac {R_{max}}{4}}

Therefore,

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {H=\dfrac {80\ m}{4}}

\displaystyle\longrightarrow\sf {\underline {\underline {H=20\ m}}}
