We know that
v =  \frac{d}{t}
We can write it as
d = v \times t
Therefore
(x+1)*x+(2x+5)*(x-1)=Total distance
3x^{2}  + 4x - 5 = 90
3 {x}^{2}  +  4x - 95 = 0
On solving we get
x=5.

Answer:

We know that

v =

 \frac{d}{t}

We can write it as

d =

v \times t

Therefore

(x+1)*x+(2x+5)*(x-1)=Total distance

3x^{2} + 4x - 5 = 90

3 {x}^{2} + 4x - 95 = 0

On solving we get

x=5.

Hope it helps you
