Answer:

220m²

Step-by-step explanation:

square shaped park of side 80 m.

two equal rectangular flower beds each of size 10 m by 5m

A/q,

the length of the boundary of the remaining park = area square shaped park of side 80 m/two equal rectangular flower beds each of size 10 m by 5m

=4 x 80 m - 2 x 10m x 5m

=320m²- 100m²

=220m²

suppose it is correct

The answer to the question could be:-

Given,

Side of square park = 80 meter

Length of two same flower beds = 10 meter

Breadth of two same flower beds = 5 meter

Perimeter of the park without including the flower beds = ?

The perimeter of the park without including the flower beds can be obtained by subtracting the perimeter of the two flower beds from perimeter of the park including the flower beds. The solution to the above question is:-

Perimeter of a square = 4 * Side

Perimeter of the park including the flower beds = 4 * 80 meters

                                                                                = 320 meters

Perimeter of rectangles = length * breadth

Perimeter of the two flower beds = 10 * 5

                                                        = 50 meters

Perimeter of the park without including the flower beds = 320 - (50 + 50)

                                                                                             = 320 - 100

                                                                                             = 220 meters.
