Answer: to answer we fist have to find perimeter of the rectangle which will tell us the length of the wire

therefore, perimeter=2(36+40)

=2(76)

=152 cm

perimeter of square=4(side)

now, by transposing

side=perimeter/4

side=152/4

=38 cm

side of square = 38cm
