1. ans- The grandfather had to go to Saharanpur to collect his pension. He decided to take Toto along in a big canvas bag. Since there was no opening in the bag to allow his hands or face to come out, he would often jump inside the bag, making the bag look like as if there was a spirit in it.

2. ans- Evelyn was nervous when she was going to royal academy of music because it was a new experience for her. ... Besides, it was her first day at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London. The factor that was making her feel most nervous was her deep deafness.

3. ans- The main theme of the poem, "The Road Not Taken," is that human beings are confronted with and defined by the choices they make. The main idea of the poem is that the speaker is confronted with this fork in the road and must make a choice as to which road to take.

4. ans- Toto's presence was kept a secret from grandmother because she did not approve of any addition to the already existing pets the grandfather had. So, Toto was kept in a closet that opened into the narrator's bedroom wall and was tied to a peg fastened into the wall.

6. ans- No , the child didn't makes a deliberate mistake in the lesson ''the lost child" because as we all know that the child is not to ager he didn't have a sense to collaborate with the situation. As he was only a child he also has some desires.
