We'd been in Chennai for the 5th Test Match and wanted to visit the Parambikulam Tiger Reserve and were booked into The Banyan Tree by our travel agent. We arrived on Xmas Eve and left on Boxing Day (2 nights). The room was well appointed and clean; with a view of a hazy mountain.

We can not speak more highly of the welcome we received, with Prabhu, his wife Jayanasee and their staff going the extra mile to make our Xmas away memorable. The local meals they prepared for us were deliciously different. Thank you. Roger and Mary Count, English but living in George, Southern Cape, South Africa
