Answer:

let number of one rupee coins = x

therefore , number of 50 paisa coins = 3x

Total amount of money = Rs 35

therefore ,

   0.5(3x) + 1(x) = 35

.15x +1x= 35

or 25/10x=35

or 25x= 35*10

or 25x =350

or x= 14

Therefore , Number of one Rupee coins = 12

Hence Number of 50 paisa coins = 3*14 = 42

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of coins of Rs.1 is 3 times more than 50paise coins

so, we take into ratio = 3 : 1

Rs.1 = 100 paise

A/Q,

Let the ratio be x

= 3x : x

= (3x × 100/100 ) + (x × 50/100 )

= 3x + x/2

= (6x + x)/2

= 7x/2

Total value of coins = 35

=> 7x/2 = 35

=> 7x = 35×2

=> 7x = 70

=> x = 70/7

=> x = 10

Number of Rs.1 coins = 3x = 3×10 = 30

Number of 50 paise coins = x = 10
