If test-tube A is containing boiled rice and if some drops of Iodine is pour on it then, the colour changes to blue and black which indicates that still starch is present there.
If test-tube B is contains chewed rice and if we add drops of Iodine solution on it then no color change means it remains greyish. This is beacuse the starch in boiled rice is converted into sugar by saliva during chewing. Hence, in test-tube B there is virtually no starch left. As a result the color in test tube B remains unchanged.
