this a indirect proportion. ie. when boy workers increased then the working hours decreased.
8 boys 18 hours
36 boys x hours
8 : 36 = 18 : x
indirect proportion. so
8 *18=36*x
x=(8*18)/36=4 hours
answer is 4 hours for 36 boys to finish the same work
