8 buffaloes and 12 cows together cost Rs 36800. How much does each buffalo cost if each cow costs Rs 1400?

Total cost of cows= 1400*12= 16800

Total cost of buffaloes = 36800-16800=20000

Cost of each buffalo = 20000/8=2500
