1. What tells us that the child likes being up in the air?

ans: The child usually shout happily or cherifully when playing the swing or playing the slide.

2. What all does the child see when the swing goes up?

ans: It is the most pleasant and joyful thing a child does by swinging up in the air so high. The poet further says that by swinging in the air, he can see across the wall, many things like trees, river, cattle and all other such things. This way, he keeps on swinging up and down watching the nature and enjoys the ride.

3. What are the three colours mentioned in the poem?

ans: The colors mentioned in the poem are crimson and silver of turbans, purple of tunic brocade, green of jade, saffron, yellow of lentils, the golden colour of jewellery, azure and red of tassels and white of blossoms.

4. What does each colour describe?

5. Where is the swing?

ans: In the last stanza, the speaker highlights on how the child has risen up to see over the wall, and then as the swing starts to fall they look down and see the green garden. The swing is in the garden and it is the garden wall the child is looking over.
