On a sunny, warm day the most likely event that is going to be occure is evaporation.

On a warm sunny day, water from the surface of Earth will get evaporated at a faster rate than on a less warmer day. The insolation will increase the temperature of the surface of Earth as well as the water bodies like rivers, seas and oceans. This will result in evaporation of water.

This stage will be followed by condensation. When the evaporation of water occurs,it turns into vapours. These vapours rise in the atmosphere. These water vapours reach upto a height where they start condensing because of the low temperature. After condensation, water droplets formed and they merged with each other to precipitate in the form of rain.
