8. Determine the probability that a number chosen at random from the
digits 1, 2, 3, ......., 10 will be a multiple of 4.

Answer:

Probability = favourable cases/total no.of cases

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

Total number of cases = 10

(numbers which are multiple of 4) 4,8= 2 nos. Out of 10 are multiple of 4 .

Thus favourable cases = 2

Probability = favourable / total = 2/10 = 1/5
