Saprophytes-They digest there food outside their bodies by spitting strong digestive enzymes on their food, which is mainly dead and decaying plant or animal bodies. Then they intake their food.

Eg-Fungi like mushrooms and yeast come in this category.

Parasites-They don't have any specific digestive mechanism so they intake already digested food from their host organism by means of sucking on blood or any other substance that has nutrition.

Eg- Leeches
