8. Explain how rainbow is produced.

When the rain drops fall down , light rays from the sun strike the drops and the drops act as prisms for the light splitting the light into its constituent colours.this is how rainbow is formed.

When rainfall occurs , so vapour are left in atmosphere ,when a ray fall on vapour present in atmosphere ,it disperse into 7 colour's which result in formation of rainbow .
