Answer:

12/7 : 31/14::18/5: x

product of means = product of extremes

12/7 * x = 31/14 * 18/5

x = 31/14 * 18/5 / 12/7

x = 31/14 * 18/5 * 7/12

x =31/20

Applying formula ,

Product of means=product of extremes

Let the 4th term be x

i,e.,31/14×18/5=>12/7×x

=>12/7x=>31/14×18/5

 = >  x = \frac{ \frac{31}{14} \times  \frac{18}{5} }{\frac{12}{7} } \\  =  > x = \frac{ \frac{31}{2} \times  \frac{18}{5} }{12 } \\  =  > x  =  \frac{31 \times \frac{9}{5} }{12}  \\  \frac{31 \times \frac{3}{5} }{4} \\  =  > x =  \frac{ \frac{155 \times 3}{5} }{4} \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ \frac{465}{5} }{4} \\  \\   =  > x = \frac{93}{4}  \\  \\  =  > x = 23 \times \frac{1}{4}

Hence your answer is 23*1/4

Hope it helped you buddy..

Thank you..
