Finding the common multiples should be done by LCM. There are some rules when it comes to LCM;

1) If the 1 number is multiple of the other then, the biggest number will be the LCM. Example - 3 and 27 since 27 is the bigger number and is a multiple of 3 it is the LCM.

2) If both the numbers are prime then the LCM will be the product of the numbers. Example - 2 and 3       2 x 3 = 6 therefore LCM = 6

Now the answers

a) 10 and 15

=  2 x 3 x 5 = 30

Therefore LCM = 30

b) 7 and 35

As listed in the first rule that the bigger number will be the LCM and therefore the LCM = 35. Just incase, let us check.

7 x 5 = 35
