  • Length = 8 cm
  • Breadth = 6 cm

To Find :-

  • Diagonal

Solution :-

We know that,

→ d = √(l² + b²)

where,

  • d is diagonal
  • l is length
  • b is breadth

Here we are given length and breadth. So, by simply substituting the values in formula, we can find diagonal :-

→ d = √( 8² + 6² )

→ d = √(64 + 36)

→ d = √(100)

→ d = 10

Diagonal of rectangle = 10 cm
