8. Find the number of square tiles of size 10 cm required to cover a room 5 m long and 4 m wide.

Area of room = 5*4

                       = 20 m^2

Area of 1 tile = 10*10

                     = 100 cm^2

Area of room in cm = 20*100

                                = 2000 cm^2

Tiles required = Area of room/Area of tile

                       = 2000/100

                       = 20 tiles required

Cost of one tile = ₹5

Cost of 20 tiles = 20*5

                          = ₹100
