8. Find the zeroes of the polynomial p(x) = 4x² - 7x +3 by factorising it and verify the
relationship between the zeroes and coefficient of p(x).​

Answer:

 4 {x}^{2}  - 7x + 3 = 0 \\ 4 {x}^{2}  - 4x - 3x + 3 = 0 \\ 4x(x - 1) - 3(x - 1) = 0 \\ (x - 1)(4x - 3) = 0 \\ x = 1 \:  \: and \:  \:  \frac{3}{4}

Relationship

1 +  \frac{3}{4}  =  \frac{ - ( -7 )}{4}  =  \frac{ - b}{a}

And

1 \times  \frac{3}{4}  =  \frac{3}{4} =  \frac{c}{a}
