Answer the following questions:
(a) Which mirror can be used as headlights of vehicle? Justify your answer.
(b) Which mirror can be used as make up shaving mirror? Justify your answer.
(c) Which mirror will form the image such that the height of image is equal to the height of
object? What will be the distance between object and image in this case?

a. Concave mirrors are used in head lights of vehicles because when the bulb of headlight is placed at focus of concave mirror it will allow thelight to spread out to infinity after the reflection onthe mirror

b. A concave mirror is used in the case of shaving mirror because when the concave mirror is placed very close to the object, a magnified and virtual image is obtained.

c.The image produced by a convex mirror is always virtual, and located behind the mirror. When the object is far away from the mirror the image is upright and located at the focal point. As the object approaches the mirror the image also approaches the mirror and grows until its height equals that of the object.
