(a) V of the new cuboid = 28 × 7 × 7 .....(1)
V of original one = 7 × 7 × 7 ......(2)
Ratio = (28×7×7)/(7×7×7)
= 4:1
(b) sa of new = 2( 196 + 196 +49 )
= 882
sa if original = 6×7×7
= 294
Ratio = 882/294
= 3:1
