Transfer of pollen grains from another to stigma is called pollination . On the other hand ,fusion of male and female gameste is called fertilisation. Pollination is the process by which the pollen from another reaches the stigma of the flower of the same species. Fertilisation is the process in which the male gamete fuses with the egg to form zygote.
