This statement is False

This is because:-

A balanced force is acting on the body which is keeping the body in motion. According law of Newton, a body will remain in rest or in motion unless and until some unbalanced force is applied on it. If no force acts on a body , it remains at rest. Hence proved!

Cheers!

luckyjoshi615: not necessary ...... at rest also forces may act on body
luckyjoshi615: moreover the question talks with reference to the frame of motion of ball
luckyjoshi615: answer is ok ....but explanation m @maza @ni @aya last line is not needed
Crystall91: I meant to say, no unbalanced force acts on the body when it is as rest
luckyjoshi615: hmm..

Answer:

False ,The force is acting at that time the force is frictional force as it is moving at uniform speed we does not able to see the force
