Answer:

Explanation:

hey dear,

the question must be like this

If a bus accelerates from rest  for time t1, at a constant rate alpha and then retards at a constant rate beta for  time t2, and comes to rest, then  t1/t2 ?

for the time t1

 v= u+at

 v=αt1

 now foe time t2

        v=u+at

         0=αt1 - βt2                  ( - sign becuse it is retarding)

         βt2=αt1

      => t1/t2=β/α.........

hope this will help you.. plz support

Answer: -beta/alpha.

Explanation:. Using formula v=u+at.

V= alpah t1. Eq1

then 0= v+ beta ×t2.

v= -beta ×t2 eq.2

Diving eq 1 and 2

We get t1/t2= -beta /alpha
