We know that,
cosx = sin(90-x)
cos(x-6) = sin(90-x+6) = sin(96-x)
Hence,
sin3x = cos(x-6) = sin(96-x)
sin3x = sin(96-x)
3x = 96-x
3x+x = 96
4x = 96
x = 24
