To prove: ABC is an Isosceles triangle

In △ABD and △ACD

∠DAB=∠DAC (AD bisects ∠A)

AD=AD (Common)

BD=CD (AD bisects BC)

Thus, △ABD≅△ACD (SAS rule)

Thus, AB=AC (By cpct)

hence, ABC is an Isosceles triangle.
