Step-by-step explanation:

so,according to question

let we take a common number for numerater and denominator=x

if numerator increases by 2=x+2

and denominator decreases by 1=x-1

and in nextt

numerator is increased by 1=x+1

denominator is increased by 2=x+2

since,x+1/x+2=1/3

=(x+1)*3=(x+2)*1

=3x+3=x+2

=2x=-1

x=-1/2

then

x+2/x-1=

=-1/2+2/-1/2-1=3/5÷-3/5

=1/-1
