Interst on 5% :-

 \frac{540 \times  \frac{1}{2} \times  5}{100}

= 13 • 50

Intrest on :-

3\frac{1}{2} \% =

 \frac{540 \times  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{7}{2} }{100}

= 9•45

Decrease = 13 • 50 - 9•45 = 4•05

Hence, The Answer is 405 Rs: ( Rupees )
