6 whole sheets weigh 2% kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume that the weight of each sheet of paper is x g

Given:

12 sheets of paper weigh 40 g

12 x = 40

X     = 40/12 = 3.33 g

Thus, each sheet of paper weights 3.33 g

To calculate:

No of sheets in 2% kg

2% of a kg = 2/100 kg

       = 0.02 kg

       = 20 g

The no. of sheets that weight 20 g = 20/3.33

          ≈ 6 sheets

6 whole sheets weigh 2% kg
