Let original length be l and original breadth be b

1 st case

ORIGINAL PERIMETER

= 2 multiply (l+b)

2nd case

NEW PERIMETER

= 2 multiply (3l + 3b)

= 3 x 2 x (l+b)

=6(l+ b)

hence the perimeter will increase three times itself
