x = -2

x²+y²+3xy = -5

(-2)²+y²+3(-2)y = -5

4+y²-6y = -5

y²-6y = -9

y²-6y+9 = 0

(y-3) (y-3)

y = 3

Answer:

x--2

Step-by-step explanation:

(-2)2+Y2+3(-2)y--5. 4+Y2-6y+5-0. Y2-6y+9-0. y2-3y-3y+9. y(y-3)-3(y-3). {y-3}
