Answer:

total student in class = 40

3/8 are girls.

no. of girls present among 40 students =

 \frac{3}{8} \times 40 \\ = 15

hence, no. of girls =15

and no. of boys = 40-15= 25

hence no. of boys = 25

So, there are 25 boys and 15 girls in the class of 40 students.

Answer :-

There are 25 boys and 15 girls in a class of 40 students.

Explanation :-

▪ Total students present in a class = 40

▪ Given that, 3/8 part of the total students are girls.

▪ Number of girls present among 40 students

= 3/8 × 40

= 15

∴ No. of girls present in a class = 15

Then,

No. of boys = Total students - No. of girls

》No. of boys = 40 - 15 = 25

∴ No. of boys present in a class = 25
