answer-

let the total% be 100%

so, students who like to swim= 100%-[42+24]%

students who like to swim= 100%-66%

=34%

if 34% is 170 then 1% is= 170/34

1 % = 5

students who play football= 42%

if 1% = 5

then 42%= 5*42

=210 students

hope it helps

Answer: 210

Step-by-step explanation:

let the total% be 100%

so, students who like to swim= 100%-[42+24]%

students who like to swim= 100%-66%

=34%

if 34% is 170 then 1% is= 170/34

1 % = 5

students who play football= 42%

if 1% = 5

then 42%= 5x42

=210 students
