8. In AABC, AB = AC and AD is the angle bisector of ZA.
Prove that AABD - AACD.​

Answer :

In ∆ADB and ∆ADC

AB = AC ( given )

AD = AD ( Common )

Angle ADC = Angle ADB ( AD is the perpendicular bisector of BC )

Therefore , ∆ABD \cong ∆ADC by SAS congruency rule
