According to the figure, line 'n' is a transversal line which intersect both the lines 'l' and 'm'.

If line 'l' is parellel to line 'm', then ∠1 and ∠2 will be co-interior angles whose sum would be 180°.

Given, that sum of ∠1 and ∠2 is less than 180°.

∴ Lines are not parellel.
