8. In the adjoining figure, AD is bisector of BAC. If AB = 6 cm,
AC = 4 cm and BD = 3 cm, find BC.

if AD is bisector then we know that it devides BC into two equal parts so

BC = bd+dc

BC= 2 bd because it is equal

BC=2 x 3

BC= 6 cm
