8. In the adjoining figure, it is given that AB||CD. ABO = 50° and
CDO = 40°
Find the measure of BOD.

Hint. Through O draw EOF || AB​

bod=abc+cdo =180

bod=50+40=180

bod=180-90

bod=90

First of all see my image....

  • In this picture, XO is line passing through point O such that it is parrallel for both the given lines.
  • In this Angle XOB is 130° and angle XOD is 140°( because sum of interreior corresponding angles are 180°)
  • Now you may find the value of needed angle because now they are firming a complete angle.
  • Value of angle BOD=90°.
