Hey mate!!

let 1 kg of potato be x and 1 kg of carrot be y

now, 8x+5y = 28-------(1)

also, 2x+3y = 11.2--------(2)

multiplying equation 2 by 4, we get:-

8x+12y = 44.8-------(3)

solving equation (1) & (3) by elimination method:-

7y=16.8

hence, y=2.4

put y=2.4 in equation (1) ,

we get x = 2
