Given : -

◎ 8 men completes a work in 10 days .

Need to find : -

◎ In how many days 10 men would complete the same work .

Solution : -

◎ Observing nicely we find that indirect relationship exist between number of men and number of days.

➡ So, using the property of inverse proportion, We get :

8 \times 10 = 10 \times x \\  \\  =  > 80 = 10x \\  \\ or \: 10x = 80 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{80}{10}  \\  \\  =  > x = 8 \: days

\boxed{\red{So \: 10 \: men's \: take \: 8\:  days\:  to\: complete\:  the\:  same\: work}}

if 8 men can complete a work in 10 days, then 10 men will do the same work in X days.

8 × 10 = 10 × X

80 = 10X

80 / 10 = X

8 = X

10 men will take 8 days to complete the work.

hop with helps.
