Answer :-

→ 8M = 12W

→ M/W = 3/2

let a man efficiency is 3x unit / day and a woman efficiency is 2x unit / day .

so,

→ 12 men completes the work in 20 days = 12 * 3x * 20 = 720x units .

then,

→ Total work is done by 15 women in = 960x / (15 * 2x) = 24 days (Ans.)

To Find : .ln how many days will 15 women complete the same work which 12 men complete in 20 days​

Solution:

Let say Man 1 day work = M

Woman 1 day work  = W

8 men complete the same work as 12 women.

=> 8M = 12W

=> 2M = 3W

=> M = 3W/2

12 men complete in 20 days​

=> 12 * 20 = 240M

= 240  ( 3W/2)

= 360W

15 women

= (360/15)  

= 24

15 women complete the same work in 24 days  which 12 men complete in 20 days​
