Given :- 8 men or 15 boys earn ₹12000 in 30 days. In 5 days, how much money will 20 men and 24 boys earn ?

Solution :-

we have,

→ 8 M = 15 B

→ M/B = 15/8

So,

8M = 15B can earn 12000 in 30 days.

then, in 5 days (20M + 24B) will earn = ?

we know that,

• Earning ∝ 1/Days .

So,

→ 8 * 15 * 30 * (1/12000) = 5 * (20 * 15 + 24 * 8) / x

→ (8 * 15)/400 = 5(300 + 192)/x

→ (8 * 3)/80 = 5 * 492/x

→ 3/10 = 5 * 492/x

→ 1/10 = 5 * 164/x

→ 1/10 = 820/x

→ x = Rs.8200 . (Ans.)

Hence, They will earn Rs.8200 in 5 days.
