Step-by-step explanation:

let the cost price be x

20%of x=20/100×x

=x/5

cost price of the bicycle for mr b = x+x/5

=5x+x/5=6x/5

25%of 6x/5=25/100×6x/5=3x/10

cost price of the bicycle for mr c=6x/5+3x/10

=12x+3x/10

=15x/10

according to the question

15x/10=1500

15x=1500×10

x=1500×10/15

x=1000

so the cost price of the bicycle for mr a is rupee 1000
