Given:-

  • 8% of A is added to A.

To Find:-

  • What will be the number multipled to A?

Solution:-

Let consider the number be x.

According to the question,

 \: \sf \: a + \frac{8}{100} of \: a = a \times x \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: a + \frac{8a}{100} = a \times x \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: \frac{100a + 8a}{100} = a \times x \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: \frac{108a}{100} = a \times x \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: \frac{108a}{100a} = x \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: x = 1.08

Hence,the value of x is 1.08.

Given :-

  • 8% of A is added to A

-------------------------------------------------------------------

To Find :-

  • What will be the number multipled to A?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Solution :-

Let x be the number

Therefore :-

 \longmapsto \sf \: a + \frac{8}{100} \: of \: a = a \times x \\

\longmapsto\sf \: a + \frac{8a}{100} = a \times x \\

\longmapsto\sf \: \frac{100a + 8a}{100} = a \times x \\

\longmapsto\sf \: \frac{108a}{100} = a \times x \\

\longmapsto\sf \: \frac{108a}{100a} = x \\

\longmapsto\sf \: x = 1.08 \\

\large \therefore \: \underline{ \bf \pink{The \: value \: of \: x \: is \: 1.08}} \\
