Given:

  • 8% of A is added to A

To Find:

  • What is the value of A?

Solution:

Let the number be x.

According to the question –

 \sf \rightarrow \:A + 8\%of A = A \times x \\ \\ \sf \rightarrow \: A + \frac{8A}{100} = A \times x \\ \\ \sf \rightarrow \: \frac{100A + 8A}{100} = A \times x \\ \\ \sf \rightarrow \: \frac{108A}{100} = Ax \\ \\ \sf \rightarrow \: x = 1.08

  • Hence,the value of x = 1.08
