% change = a + b + ab / 100

for increase take value +ve , for decrease take it -ve

let , a = 20, b = - 10

% change

= 20 + ( - 10 ) + ( 20 ) ( - 10) / 100

= 20 - 10 - 200/ 100

= 20 - 10 - 2

= 20 - 12 = 8 %

hence , the percentage change in two years = 8%

priyanshu674: okk
TheLostMonk: you can write formula as , a + a1 + aa1 / 100
TheLostMonk: take a = 20 or a1 = - 10
