Answer:

the answer is.

Step-by-step explanation:

statements

weight of grapes bought=5/4 kg

weight of mangoes bought =5/2 kg

weight of apples bought=3/2 kg

weight of oranges bought=2 kg

; fruits bought in total=5/4+5/2+3/2+2

then we need to find the Lcm of all the denominators

                                                                                        =(Lcm of 4,2,2)=4

we should make the denominators equal

5/4 x 1=5/4  - its still same as the denominator is 4

5/2 x 2= 10/4 -we need to multiply 2 by 2 to get four as well as multiply 5 x 2 the same number to make it equivalent fraction to 5/2.

3/2 x 2=6/4- we need to multiply 3 x 2 also 6 too.to make it eqivalent fraction to 3/2

we can take 2 as 2/1 it means the same

2/1 x 4=8/4- Because 1x4 is 4 so the denominator.Even multiply 2x4 to make it 8.To make it equivalent fraction like i said.

THEN JUST ADD ALL OF THE FRACTION AND YOU GET YOUR ANSWER.

5/4+10/4+6/4+8/4  THE ANSWER IS  29/4

you should not add the denominator just the numerator.

hope this helps
