8 Saumya is wants to improve in mathematics and she decides to practice daily one sum. Help her to solve this sum:

She thinks of a number and subtracts ‘r’ from it. She multiplies the result by ‘p’. The result now obtained is ‘N’ times the number she thought of. Find the number she thought of.

(i) If r= 7/2, p=10 and N=3.

(ii) r=3/2, p=8 and N=4
