POINTS TO NOTICE:-

  1. IN QUESTIONS RELATED TO SOLVING PROBLEMS ON MISSING VARIABLES
  2. FIRST TAKE THE LIKE TERMS ON ONE SIDE AND VARIABLE ON THE OTHER
  3. THE DIVIDE IT BY TAKING IT DOWNWARD
  4. AND THEN THE MISSING VARIABLES ARE OBTAINED

GIVEN:-

3 + 5M = 43

TO FIND:- M

SOLUTION:-

TAKE THE LIKE TERMS ON ONE SIDE

43 - 3 = 5M

40 = 5M

DIVIDE BOTH SIDES BY 5

40/5 = 5M/5

M = 8
